Energy Efficiency:

AstralPool Heat Pumps are an environmentally-friendly option to heat your pool. They employ state of art technology providing increased efficiency and lower energy bills. Operating on a similar principle to your refrigerator or air conditioner, Heat Pumps use environmentally friendly refrigerant gas that extracts the latent heat from the air and transfers this heat into the pool water.

Heat pump technology allows this type of heater to extract 80% of the heat in the air to help heat the pool; that means free heating!  For every 1 kW of electricity consumed, AstralPool Heat Pumps will collect up to 13 kW of heat from the atmosphere.

Sunshine is not necessary and your Heat Pump will continue to heat your pool with air temperatures as low as 7 degrees. So even if the nights are cold, or the days leading up to the weekend are cool, your AstralPool Heat Pump can heat and maintain your pool water temperature at a comfortable swimming temperature.

Inverter Technology:

AstralPool Inverter heat pumps use up to 15-30% less power consumption when compared to a non-inverter heat pump.

The AstralPool's unique inverter technology reduces the speed of the unit as it reaches the desired temperature. This greatly saves on energy and enables you to enjoy swimming quicker and at a constant temperature. The Inverter technology also reduces the noise due to a unique internal ventilation design, the addition of silent mode allows you to operate at any time without disturbing the neighbours.

The AstralPool Inverter Heat Pump range uses R32 Gas Refrigerant, which offers higher efficiency and requires less refrigerant volume per Kw. This means quicker heating times and less energy used to heat up your pool. Therefore AstralPool heap pumps reduce electricity consumption by up to 10%, leading to lower environmental impacts.

Connectivity:

The AstralPool range of heat pumps are designed for connectivity with other AstralPool pool equipment, such as Variable Speed Pumps, AstralPool Salt Water Chlorinators and the AstralPool Connect 10 automation system.

All AstralPool heat pumps come with a WiFi module included. With the WiFi module you can control your heater “on the go” from your smartphone. Design & Construction:

Unlike many other heat pumps, the corrosion proof titanium heat exchanger is enclosed in a purpose designed and fully injection moulded housing for maximum strength and long life. The fully moulded plastic Heat Pump case is impervious to corrosion and guarantees maximum life regardless of location, “seaside” tropical north or outback.
