AstralPool XC50 Cartridge Filter
A Cartridge filter is one of the most common ways to filter your pool water, to maintain its cleanliness. Cartridge filters use an internal, replaceable filter element and the process of “surface filtration” to strain out the microscopic particles that are in your water.
AstralPool’s XC series is an advanced, high-quality cartridge filter with a small footprint which is ideal for small spaces. The XC-series filters are designed and manufactured in Australia and made to last by utilising the best quality materials available. The tank is made from high-strength glass fibre reinforced plastics, capable of withstanding high pressures and the harshest environments.
The internal sections of the XC Filter have been specially designed to create a “Cyclonic” action inside the vessel, and so it has excellent filtering capability and is effective in filtering small particles down to 10 microns. The design is also ideal for use with a variable speed pump, where it will provide exceptional filtering performance, even at low pump speeds.
Cartridge filters generally require far less water than Media Filters to wash them out, and the XC filter is designed with unique cyclonic filtration technology specifically to filter water even more effectively and efficiently. As such, the XC filter has been granted Climate Care Certification by SPASA Australia.
